What are remy hair extensions?

Unlike the other kinds of hair extensions, remy hair does not undergo the acid bath that is commonly used to extract the cuticles before applying silicone to the hair, which is lost after several washes. The fact of keeping the cuticles intact makes the remy hair remain shiny and avoids tangling.
